Community Guidelines
OmegleCamChat is a face-to-face cam chat platform. The rules below protect every real person on the other side of the camera — please follow them every time you connect.
Breaking these rules can lead to instant disconnect, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban — and, where the law requires it, a report to the proper authorities.
1. Our Goal: Real, Safe, Human Conversations
OmegleCamChat exists for one reason — to put you face-to-face with a real stranger, in real time, with as little friction as possible. No profiles to build. No swiping. No scripted bots. Just two humans, two cameras, and a conversation that lasts exactly as long as both of you want it to.
That kind of openness only works when every person on the platform shows up in good faith. These Community Guidelines describe what good faith looks like on OmegleCamChat — and what gets you removed from it.
If you ever feel unsafe in a cam chat, tap Skip or Report. Both are always one tap away.
2. Who Can Join OmegleCamChat
OmegleCamChat is strictly 18+. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country, whichever is higher) to use this service. There is no minor account, no teen mode, and no exception for "almost 18."
By starting a cam chat you confirm that you are an adult and that you are on camera as yourself — not as someone else, not with a minor in frame, and not from a location where this kind of service is prohibited by local law.
If we find evidence that an account belongs to someone under 18, we ban that account immediately and preserve the relevant evidence in line with our Privacy Policy.
3. Be Respectful on Camera
Treat the person across from you the way you would treat a stranger sitting next to you on a bus. You can be funny, flirty, weird, opinionated — you cannot be cruel.
- Don't yell, scream, or use shock tactics to startle the other person.
- Don't insult someone's appearance, accent, body, country, or background.
- Don't display anything on camera that you wouldn't be willing to show a stranger in public.
- If the other person looks uncomfortable, skip. You don't need a reason.
OmegleCamChat is a conversation, not an audition. Nobody on the other side owes you their time, attention, or body.
4. Zero Tolerance: Nudity Directed at Unconsenting Users
Do not expose yourself on camera to a random stranger. Random pairing means you have no idea who you're about to meet — flashing nudity or sexual acts at someone who did not ask for it is harassment, and on many platforms (including ours) it is also a criminal offense.
- No genital exposure. No masturbation on camera. No sexual acts performed for, or in front of, a random user.
- No nudity in your visible background — what's behind you counts as much as what's on you.
- No sexually explicit clothing, props, or signs aimed at the camera.
Detection of this behavior triggers an instant disconnect and a permanent ban, with no warning and no appeal for first offenses. Where the user can be identified and the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement.
5. Zero Tolerance: Minors
Any activity involving anyone under 18 is forbidden, full stop. This includes — but is not limited to — the following:
- Being under 18 yourself while using OmegleCamChat.
- Allowing anyone under 18 to appear in your camera frame, even in the background.
- Sharing, requesting, hinting at, or attempting to produce sexual content involving a minor.
- Grooming, sexualizing, or attempting to contact anyone you believe — or have any reason to believe — is under 18.
Violations in this section result in a permanent ban, preservation of all relevant evidence, and a direct report to law enforcement and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the equivalent body in your jurisdiction. There is no warning. There is no appeal.
6. No Harassment, Threats, or Hate Speech
OmegleCamChat is open to people from more than 120 countries. That only works if everyone behaves like a guest, not a landlord. The following will get you removed:
- Threats of violence, self-harm, doxxing, or revenge against another user.
- Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexual harassment — repeated, unwanted sexual remarks or requests after the other person made clear they were not interested.
- Coordinated harassment — using multiple accounts or recruiting others to target a specific user.
- Recording or screenshotting another user to mock, expose, or humiliate them off-platform.
You can disagree with someone on camera. You cannot weaponize the conversation against them.
7. No Impersonation, Scams, or Solicitation
Cam chat is fun because the person across from you is real. Don't break that.
- No impersonation. Don't pretend to be a celebrity, an influencer, a public figure, another OmegleCamChat user, or a friend / family member of the person you're talking to.
- No deepfakes or face-swap filters used to deceive the other person about who they are talking to.
- No scams. No "send me money to keep talking," no fake giveaways, no fake job offers, no phishing for passwords, bank details, crypto wallets, or one-time codes.
- No solicitation. Don't use OmegleCamChat to advertise paid content, OnlyFans-style sites, escort services, camgirl platforms, or any other commercial service. Don't try to herd users to Telegram, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Discord, or any other off-platform destination.
- No promotion of illegal goods or services — drugs, weapons, stolen accounts, fake IDs, hacked data, etc.
8. Camera Use & Background
You control your camera. Use that power responsibly.
- Don't film other people without their consent. If a friend, family member, partner, roommate, or co-worker is in the room, get their permission before pointing the camera in their direction — or simply move so they're out of frame.
- Don't point the camera at minors, ever, for any reason. See section 5.
- Don't broadcast from places where strangers can be filmed without consent — public transit, classrooms, locker rooms, hospitals, etc.
- No flashing lights, strobes, or content known to trigger seizures aimed at the camera.
9. Reporting & Moderation
Every cam chat on OmegleCamChat includes a one-tap Report button. Use it whenever you see something that breaks these guidelines. You do not need to be the direct victim to report — if it's wrong, flag it.
When you report a user, we receive a timestamped record of the session, the reason category you selected, and (where technically possible) a short snippet of the moment that triggered the report. Every report is reviewed by a human moderator within 24 hours, and our automated detection runs 24/7 on top of that.
For very serious categories — nudity directed at users, child safety, threats of violence — review is prioritized and usually resolved in minutes. For more information on how we handle your data during this process, see our Privacy Policy.
10. Consequences
We don't run a "three strikes" system. The action we take depends on what you did, not how many times you did it.
- Warning — for minor breaches like mild rudeness or a single off-topic comment that didn't rise to harassment. The next pairing continues normally.
- Instant disconnect — the current session is cut and the other user is moved to a fresh match. Common for things like yelling, repeated profanity, or borderline content.
- Temporary suspension (typically 24 hours to 30 days) — for repeated harassment, attempted off-platform solicitation, scam-like behavior, or breaching the camera-use rules.
- Permanent ban — for nudity directed at users, hate speech, threats of violence, impersonation used to defraud, scams, recording users for off-platform humiliation, or any other behavior that puts another user at risk.
- Permanent ban + law enforcement referral — for any activity involving minors, threats of imminent harm, or content that is itself a criminal offense.
Bans apply to the device, the IP signature, and any tied identifiers — not just an account name. Creating a new account to bypass a ban is itself a banned behavior.
11. How to Stay Safe
Most of OmegleCamChat is friendly people on the other side of a camera. A small minority isn't. These habits keep you on the friendly side of that line:
- Never share personal information. No full name, no home address, no phone number, no school or workplace name, no government ID.
- Never share financial information. No credit card numbers, no bank details, no crypto wallet addresses, no one-time passwords. OmegleCamChat will never ask for any of this.
- Don't let strangers talk you off-platform. If someone immediately wants to move to Telegram / Snapchat / WhatsApp, treat it as a red flag — that's the exact pattern scammers use.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, you don't need a justification. Skip.
- Skip anyone who makes you uncomfortable. You owe a stranger nothing — not your time, not your attention, not a polite goodbye.
- If you're a minor, leave now. This platform is not safe for you, not legal for you, and not designed for you.
12. Contact for Reports
If you've already used the in-app Report button, you don't need to email us — your report is in the queue. Email is for situations the Report button can't cover: account appeals, press / legal inquiries, urgent off-platform safety concerns, or follow-ups on an open report.
When emailing about a specific incident, include the approximate date and time (with your timezone) of the cam chat. We don't store user-to-user video, so the more context you can give us, the more accurately we can act.
